התפרעויות בעיר הקולג': 3 שוטרים נפצעו במהלך ניסיון לפזר מסיבה המונית

שלושה שוטרים נפצעו במהלך סוף השבוע באוניברסיטת קולורדו בעיר בולדר, וזאת לאחר שהוזעקו למקום כדי לפזר מסיבה שבה השתתפו למעלה מאלף סטודנטים.

התקרית אירעה בשעות הערב המאוחרות של יום שבת, כאשר מאבטחים בקמפוס ניסו לפזר את המסיבה ההמונית.

למרות שהנהלת המוסד הלימודי הזהירה כי כלל הנוכחים עלולים להיענש ע"י האוניברסיטה ואף להיעצר, משתתפי המסיבה - שמרביתם כלל לא חבשו מסכות או שמרו על ריחוק חברתי - סירבו להתפנות מהמקום.

יותר מאלף איש השתתפו במסיבה - מרביתם ללא מסכות

התפנית האלימה נרשמה כאשר כוחות המשטרה הגיעו למקום, והסטודנטים הגיבו בהשלכת חפצים לעברם, לרבות בקבוקי בירה ואבנים. שלושת השוטרים נפצעו באורח קל וקיבלו טיפול רפואי ע"י כוחות ההצלה.
